Whey Jennings: Lyes School & Museum Benefit Concert

Sunday, September 27, 2026 (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (CDT)

Description

Whey Jennings is coming to the Gibson County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Princeton, Indiana, on September 27, 2026! Grab your tickets NOW at this Eventbrite link: bit.ly/4gNL7yN. Country songwriter Whey Jennings is an independent Nashville recording artist who first emerged in 2012. Whey hails from one of Country music's most respected family names, being the grandson of the late Waylon Jennings, one of the original Outlaws. He isn't trying to be anyone but himself. Whey's story has proved how he's carved a path in life and in music that is uniquely his own. On his terms, his sound and style are true Jennings and grounded in authenticity every step of the way. Leading as one of the modern country's remaining traditionalist torchbearers, he has grown steadily, beginning with his trio of EP's- Gypsy Soul (2020), If It Wasn't for the Sinnin' (2022), and Just Before The Dawn (2023). In the summer of 2024, his debut full-length album, Jekyll & Hyde, was a critically acclaimed release that debuted at #10 on Apple iTunes' Top 40 Country Albums chart and #7 on iTopChart's Top Country Music Album chart. His 2026 album Baptized in Fire unveils his rawest and most vulnerable songs to date, balancing his grit and grace with country storytelling and becoming his most gospel-laced set of songs to date. Opening for Jennings is local favorite Rodney Watts, along with his daughter Mackenzie, Country Music entertainers born and raised in Indiana. Watts, a retired US Soldier, is 'singing for the American Soldier' and has opened for Kenny Chesney, Tracy Lawrence, Gary Allan, Collin Raye, Montgomery Gentry, and many more. He debuted his music video 'Rodeo Girl' here in Princeton in June 2025. Event Details: This in-person benefit concert will feature food trucks on site and provide alcohol for attendees 21 and older.
